摘要: Air pollutants are sourced from both anthropogenic and natural means, with activities, increase in urban city population, high industrial activities having the tendency to atmospheric pollution. This present study evaluated PM2.5 concentrations its bound elements Agege, Oshodi, Unilag, Lagos, Nigeria. Aerosol samples were captured on a microglass fiber particle filter determined gravimetrically. Elemental characterizations of performed by energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence. The ranged 6 14 μg/m3 Unilag Agege respectively. was lower than WHO regulatory standard (25 μg/m3). could be attributed precipitation during sampling. All 19 found locations except arsenic which not any samples. predominant Ca, Fe, K, Ni, Ti, Zn, Co, Cu, V, Sc. crust enrichment factors indicated that Ti likely earth whereas Sc activities. PCA showed all three investigated have similar sources. These sources linked influence distance input.
