摘要: In past decades, type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease developed into a global public health with an endemic scale. Although up to now the pathogenesis of T2DM is still poorly understood, ectopic lipid accumulation one strongest predictors for closely associated insulin resistance. This review aims (i) overview recent literature on impact intracellular deposition, (ii) point out changes in fat during progression or shortly after initializing individual therapy, finally (iii) expose unsolved questions future perspectives role lipids development resistance T2DM.
