ShadowGuides: visualizations for in-situ learning of multi-touch and whole-hand gestures

摘要: We present ShadowGuides, a system for in-situ learning of multi-touch and whole-hand gestures on interactive surfaces. ShadowGuides provides on-demand assistance to the user by combining visualizations user's current hand posture as interpreted (feedback) available postures completion paths necessary finish gesture (feedforward). Our experiment compared participants with those video-based instruction. found that remembered more expressed significantly higher preference help system.
