摘要: Brillouin based distributed optical fiber sensors have been studied for more than two decades because they incomparable abilities over the pointed or multiplexed fiber-optic on Bragg grating and/or inline Fabry-Perot resonator. They originated from intrinsic nonlinearity in fibers, i.e. scattering, and many distinguished advantages, such as high accuracy due to frequency revolved interrogation, multiple sensitivities of measurands (strain, temperature etc.), no dead zones sensing location ability, immunity electro-magnetic interfer‐ ence. Nowadays, thought great potentials industrial applications smart materials structures.
