摘要: Body shape variation is integrally related to many aspects of fish ecology, including locomotion and foraging, can indicate the functional diversity assemblages. Few studies have thoroughly characterized body in a diverse marine clade, or investigated both temporal spatial patterns disparity. Here, I use digital photographs measure geometric 66 species north-east Pacific rockfish (Sebastes spp.), correction for error introduced by arching specimens. Different components interspecific show associations with size, depth habitat, trophic niche phylogenetic relationships. Overall, accumulation disparity appears been near-constant over time, shows little across latitudinal range rockfish.
