摘要: Abstract The performance of a solar desalination plant (whether using thermal or photovoltaic collectors) is influenced by the ability glazing system to transmit radiation collector absorption surface. This such factors as intensity radiation, transmittance glazing, tilt angle absorbing surface, operating parameters plant, properties materials construction, etc. paper discusses influence dust deposition on evacuated tube field at Abu Dhabi, UAE. has area 1864 m2 absorber surface and an MED (multiple effect distillation) unit for seawater with capacity 120 m3/day distilled water. reduction in due amount heat collected been measured its distillate production estimated computer simulation program SOLDES which verified previously effective tool predicting similar designs. frequency high-pressure water jet cleaning was also investigated. It found that depend strongly season year should be adjusted accordingly.
