摘要: Abstract In this work, the boundary layers over a continuously shrinking sheet with power-law surface velocity and mass transfer were investigated. Based on layer assumptions, similarity equations controlling parameter β obtained solved numerically. Theoretical analysis was conducted for certain special conditions exact solutions derived β = −1 β = −2 also power index m = - 1 . Numerical techniques used to solve equation other parameters. Quite different interesting solution behaviors found compared stretching sheet. Multiple β. Velocity overshoot near wall edge observed branches. The current results offer quite nonlinear greatly enrich understanding of layers.
