摘要: Decay of xenon atoms with a vacancy in the $K$ shell by emission photon pairs which continuously share transition energy was investigated. The results show expected dominance transitions electrons from $2s$, $3s$, and $3d$ states, for single-x-ray are strongly forbidden. In range present measurements resonance effect due to intermediate $2p$ (and $3p$) states higher shells has not been observed.
