摘要: One of the conspicuous differences infacademic discourse presentation is preference for use first person singular ‘I’ perspective in some languages versus plural ‘we’ others. This distinction due not so much to purely linguistic reasons as cultural ones. The purpose this paper present data concerning employment two perspectives English, German, French, Russian and Bulgarian research articles linguistics suggest explanations, well point certain cross-cultural misunderstandings which may result from established here. An attempt also made investigate cross-linguistic influences among five languages. analysis based on 5 corpora consisting 300 pages each language.
