摘要: Acetazolamide is useful for acclimatizing to high altitude. How long it should be taken, and the physiological consequences of stopping have not been thoroughly studied. We investigated effect acetazolamide cessation on exercise oxygenation at different altitudes durations use. Three groups were studied: group 1 acclimatized 4,060 m 6 days while taking 250 mg three times a day. On day 7 was stopped, then resumed 8. Standardized oximetry performed each The protocol 2 identical 1, except acclimatization occurred over 14 4 120 m. 3 2, subjects 4,770 Multivariate regression revealed negative (p=0.028). At 4,100 after one week resulted in 11% drop (p=0.008); two weeks this altitude there an non-significant (2.5% p=0.064). 770 increase (7% p=0.027). conclude that dependent both duration acclimatization/drug administration,
