摘要: Abstract An advanced method was investigated for production of ultrahigh-purity alumina α-Al2O3 (UHPA, 99.999%) with an oxidation aluminum (purity 99.7%) granules in 0.1 g/mol aqueous solution potassium hydroxide a subsequent hydrochloric acid treatment and calcination the product at 1450 °C. The evolution impurities concentration after thermal studied. total especially iron impurity decreased UHPA while alkali metals (K, Na, Li), on contrary, increased by used (Al → reaction acidic + washing treatment). proposed allowed purity 99.99% 99.999% from pellets initial 99.70% respectively. advantage studied is it's low cost utility.
