摘要: Nonverbal markers of childhood trauma have been identified in the literature. Yet, relationship between and voice is still largely unexplored. We report preliminary findings from a study (N = 48) that investigated whether self-reported related to acoustic measures on sustained phonation before after recall. Childhood minimization/denial were measured using Trauma Questionnaire. Measures (fundamental frequency, pitch, perturbation, or “unsteadiness” phonation) obtained analysis software lingWAVES. Self-reported trait state anxiety also measured, State Trait Anxiety Inventory. Results showed fundamental frequency at baseline was minimization trauma. significantly perturbation recorded recall, accounting for anxiety. These results indicate importance studying as potential nonverbal marker
