摘要: The fate of total lipids, proteins and carbohydrates in the trachea, lungs, heart common ground squirrel,Funambulus pennanti, have been determined after separate exposure to three principal air pollutants, carbon monoxide (CO), sulphur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen (NO2). Exposure all these gases produced edematous conditions; however, moisture content muscle was reduced. Carbon (CO) NO2 are more toxic pulmonary lipids than SO2. lipid decreased, least effects noted with SO2 treatment. Mechanical properties lungs were changed by alteration lung causing changes surface tension. Changes protein caused altered membrane permeability. Comparative data on indicated adverse pollutants.
