摘要: The aim of this work was to study the impact moderately long storage periods at 4 degrees C upon red orange [Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck] anthocyanins production and expression structural genes involved in their biosynthesis such as phehylalanine ammonia lyase (PAL), chalcone synthase (CHS), dihydroflavonol 4-reductase (DFR), UDP-glucose flavonoid glucosyl transferase (UFGT). Our results showed that low temperature-induced accumulation juice vesicles after 75 days reached values eight times higher than those kept 25 C. Furthermore, real-time polymerase chain reaction PAL, CHS, DFR, UFGT strongly induced during temperature exposure since levels all transcripts increased least 40-fold with respect control samples. Interestingly, fruits subjected a brief (45 days) subsequently C, content dropped although samples still maintained these pigments registered oranges. Concordantly, chs, dfr, ufgt declined return conditions, but it always much cold induction On contrary, amount PAL became negligible immediately change from thus indicating "early" "late" genes, respectively, implicated first last steps leading anthocyanins, might be affected by different regulation mechanisms.
