摘要: The mating calls of Bufo viridis populations from Israel were studied and compared with that a Central-European population in order to evaluate their nature, variation evolutionary origin. In Israeli viridis, call duration, pulse duration interpulse interval are negatively correlated temperature, whereas fundamental frequency is body size. almost identical number, rate. They differ slightly but significantly more obviously, frequency. latter Since much larger than the ones, distinctly lower. Bufo illustrates case which probably largely an incidental product adaptive differentiation size humidity index.
