Ideomotor apraxia and aphasia: An examination of types and manifestations of apraxic symptoms

摘要: Eighty-eight aphasic patients with the four standard syndromes as well two control groups, 10 right-sided brain damaged and without damage were examined for ideomotor apraxia by means of 200 tasks. The tasks required oral, arm, leg bimanual movements, both on verbal command imitation. limb movements half meaningful, meaningless. Performances evaluated according to five response categories: correct, fragmentary, augmentative, perseveratory, other errors. aim investigation was ascertain whether there are apractic which either related or characterized certain types errors manifestation parts body. findings negative in all three respects. meaning these organization praxis language is discussed. performances groups consistently higher than those patients.
