摘要: Detailed magnetic properties of the compound Sr2YbRuO6 are presented here. The belongs to family double perovskites forming a monoclinic structure. Magnetization measurements reveal clear evidence for two components ordering aligned opposite each other, leading magnetization reversal, compensation temperature (T* = 34 K) and negative at low temperatures fields. Heat capacity corroborate presence in noticeable third anomaly (~15 which cannot be attributed Schottky effect. calculated entropy is substantially lower than that expected ground states ordered moments Ru5+ Yb3+, indicating large crystal field effects and/or incomplete frustrations well above ordering. An attempt made explain reversal within frameworks available models.
