摘要: The shrimp-farming area and shrimp yield are continuously changing in the southwestern coastal districts of Bangladesh. three districts, Bagerhat, Satkhira, Khulna, along with Rampal, a subdistrict contribute 75% total However, farming have declined Bagerhat district, cause this decline is uncertain. In research, differences were quantified using dataset (SYD) k-means classification. A supervised image classification approach was applied to quantify spatiotemporal changes identify influencing factors behind declining Landsat satellite archives. K-means reveals that, between 2015 2017, district significantly compared Satkhira Khulna. satellite-based monitoring results affirm that Rampal also decreased rapidly, from 21.82% 2013 6.52% 2018. This research estimates approximately 70% lost since December 2013. Hence, findings might motivate responsible bodies declare as “shrimp zone” implement an active policy protect vulnerable industry farmers, considering it second-largest export earning source Bangladesh after ready-made garments.
