摘要: Fluorescent and luminescent reporters that signal molecular events of interest by modulating the ratio peaks in their emission profile have advantages over simply modulate intensity, since ratiometric measurement is concentration-independent allows them to be effective complex contexts, such as living cells or sensor microarrays. We herein describe a general platform for design probes based on heterometallic Tb(3+)/Eu(3+) bis-lanthanide ensemble, consisting mixture, "cocktail", otherwise identical heterometalated chelates. The chelate contains an organic photon antenna sensitizes luminescence. contributions two metals composite luminescence spectrum can tuned same relative scale adjusting stoichiometry cocktail, allowing subtle changes accurately measured. Importantly, responds chemical environmental experienced antenna, making system ideal enzymatic probes. As proofs concept, we probe esterase activity polarity-responsive sensor.
