摘要: Abstract This paper examines the history of Homo erectus and sapiens in Austral-Asian region bisected by PEP II (Pole–Equator–Pole) transect, from Siberian Russia, south through Asia, insular Southeast Australasia Oceania. Current evidence is reviewed for timing arrival humans along II, their subsequent expansion concurrent development or acquisition increasingly sophisticated technologies resource exploitation. Particular emphasis placed on assessing role environmental change observed trajectories human dispersal technological development. It concluded that rapid events may have influenced at least some these trajectories.
