摘要: AbstractTypical applications of phase diagrams to specific problems refractories corrosion are highlighted. Saturation solubilities components in molten slags can be estimated using existing diagrams. These then used predict the behaviour, and qualitatively compare resistance, a refractory different or same slag. If slag is not saturated with components, relevant diagrams, conditions under which solid reaction product phases form at refractories/slag interfaces predicted, assists understanding direct indirect dissolution. By checking compatibility between impurities additives high temperatures, their influence on resistance aiding selection.
