摘要: In this chapter we will review the capabilities of X-Ray diffraction experiments in field ionic liquids, carried out with Energy Dispersive variant technique. Besides its widespread use determination solid (crystal) structure, fact, can also be conveniently used to obtain information about “liquid” structure. After description data collection and treatment, a small underlying theory, show several examples structure factors radial distribution functions that obtained from patterns. These two quantities considered as fingerprint liquid, depend intimately upon relative disposition ions liquid phase. Among most noteworthy spectral features pointed out, discuss those deriving hydrogen-bond interactions, well First Sharp Diffraction Peak (FSDP) highlight presence medium range order (MRO) liquid. We describe measurements on protic IL butylammonium nitrate water mixtures at different molar fractions, where both found, how EDXD patterns account for modulation these composition. end, change FSDP feature occurs during fusion alkylammonium chlorides tracked multiangular ADXD diffractometer, being evaluated by Rietveld method.
