Constituents of Corynaea crassa "Peruvian Viagra"

摘要: A phytochemical investigation of methanol and n-hexane extracts tuber/roots Corynaea crassa Hook. f., Balanophoraceae, led to the isolation characterization β-sitosterol, lupenone, β-amyrone, lupeol, β-amyrine. Unusual complex 1:1 mixtures lupenone/β-amyrone lupeol/β-amyrine obtained from were identified by NMR HR-MS experiments. The structure mixture was confirmed X-ray analysis. These triterpene ketone derivatives, only distinguished either 5- or 6-membered E ring, co-crystallize in one common unit cell solid state.
