摘要: Hantavirus (HV) infections were brought into the attention of western clinicians during Korean War in 1951±1953, but it was not until 1978 that Lee and colleagues isolated etiologic agent Hantaan virus (the prototype genus family Bunyaviridae) [1]. The natural reservoirs HV are several rodent species (e.g. Apodemus, Rattus, Peromyscus), which can transmit to humans have a worldwide distribution [2]. Old World HVs may cause mild febrile illness (Puumala-like viruses), or moderate severe hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) (Seoul-like Hantaanand Dobrava-like viruses, respectively) [3]. New including Sin Nombre Andes viruses responsible for pulmonary (HPS) In Europe Asia related HFRS syndrome, whereas Americas majority belong HPS clinical symptoms leptospirosis dengue comparable signs HVs. Recently, presence among patients suspected Indonesia demonstrated [4]. this study, we provide first serological evidence rodents Barbados.
