摘要: Preeclampsia is a hypertensive disorder that affects 4% of pregnancies and has high risk maternal, fetal, neonatal morbidity mortality, as well long-term cardiovascular risk. Recent updates in the definition, diagnosis, management guidelines for preeclampsia warrant review by general obstetrician-gynecologists. Screening prevention algorithms are available, but ultimately cure remains delivery fetus placenta. Close monitoring development worsening during pregnancy essential to optimize both maternal fetal/neonatal outcomes.
