摘要: We have mapped a signal sequence for mRNA 3'-end formation in Saccharomyces cerevisiae by using Drosophila melanogaster DNA segment that complements yeast adenine-8 mutation. That the 3' end of transcript S. nearly coincides with D. is consistent possibility termini are similarly determined both organisms. Deletion analysis reveals complete no more than 21 base pairs long. Part TTTTTATA, which seen termination region several genes. TTTTTATA appears to be able act autonomously as partial signal. The efficiency affected substitution sequences downstream from it. This modulation effect cerevisiae, resembling rho-dependent bacteria.
