摘要: In mammalian development, primordial germ cells (PGCs) represent the initial population of that are committed to cell lineage. PGCs segregate early in triggered by signals from extra-embryonic ectoderm. They distinguished surrounding their unique gene expression patterns. Some more common genes used identify them Blimp1, Oct3/4, Fragilis, Stella, c-Kit, Mvh, Dazl and Gcna1. These involved regulating migration differentiation, maintaining pluripotency these cells. Recent research has demonstrated possibility obtaining PGCs, subsequently, mature a starting embryonic stem (ESCs) culture. This phenomenon been investigated using variety methods, ESC lines both mouse human origin. Embryonic can differentiate into male female phenotype one case resulted birth live pups fertilization oocytes with derived sperm. finding leads prospect as treatment for sterility. review outlines evolvement ESCs vitro relation vivo events.
