摘要: Many bacteria are known to develop resistance anti-microbial agents following their clinical use. The pattern varies from one geographic location another depending upon the patient population and local history of antibiotic bacterial commonly used antimicrobial in Oklahoma City was found be different two cities Saudi Arabia, especially amongst Gram-negative bacilli. A total 13,575 fresh isolates Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC), City, Oklahoma; King Faisal Specialist Hospital Research Centre (KFSH), Riyadh; Fahad (KFH), Medina, Arabia; were used. There 6,270 Enterobacteriaceae, 2,799 pseudomonads Acinetobacter, 4,506 Gram positive strains staphylococcus bacteria. KFH considerably more resistant ampicillin, gentamicin, trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole than at KFSH VAMC. On other hand, Staphylococcus aureus isolated VAMC exhibited a significantly higher degree oxacillin those KFH.
