摘要: Polymerization of actin has many functions in motile cells, ranging from assisting with subcellular localization proteins important to polarization, generation motive forces, cell adhesion, alteration membrane shape, and even intracellular protein trafficking. While the broad strokes these events are similar among types, recent studies indicate significant differences for neuronal motility compared epithelial fibroblast cells. This chapter discusses current insights into role regulation F-actin dynamics steps required migration.
