摘要: This paper describes our work on developing a multimedia wireless field guide platform (WFG) for both fully automatic and assisted identification of different fauna flora species. Built using smart-client server model it supports visual acoustic capture individual specimen samples with optional graphical annotation posing queries alongside more traditional searching browsing query interfaces. The WFG assists the user to iteratively converge correct match by seeking additional information required resolve class uncertainty.
