摘要: This study investigated the corrosion resistance of plated and unplated steels useful as ornamentals in saline environment. Nickel plating carbon steel was done watts solution for 25minutes with a current density 3 Adm -3 at 60 o C. The nickel later gold 20 minutes 0.2 50 were immersed environment 360 hours. Weight loss taken every 24 hours order to evaluate penetration rate (CPR). results obtained showed that generally offers better than one. Corrosion is equally gaining importance especially coated ornamentals. use more prominence over silver rising due its shiny surface cost. just are being patronized will surely become common place affordability generality people. However, effects everyday corrosive fluids from kitchen salt low acidic media on durability coatings need be established. Carbon natural substrate used orna- mental .The also small thickness exhibited resis- tance More also, found suitable reliable candidate material this although higher costs.
