摘要: Peptaibiotics are peptide secondary metabolites rich in alpha, alpha-dialkyl amino acids from filamentous fungi, especially the members of genus Trichoderma (anamorph Hypocrea). In contrast to rapid progress our understanding peptaibiotics conformation, structural properties and mode action with lipid membranes, knowledge available on molecular genetics involved biosynthesis is limited, particularly regulation biosynthesis. Similar other nonribosomal peptides, microheterogeneous synthesized by synthetases (NRPSs) via multiple-carrier thiotemplate mechanism. Biochemical genetic evidence has yielded insight into mechanism led a better peptaibiotics. However, still much needs be learned about substrate selectivity
