摘要: Responsible higher education institutions have an impact on society and economic, environmental, social development. These effects define the axes of socially responsible management universities. The concept university responsibility (USR) manages these relationships to produce a positive through education, research, transfer knowledge technology, as well for sustainability. For this study, worldwide research into subject was studied period 1970–2019. A bibliometric analysis 870 articles made, obtaining results scientific productivity journals, authors, institutions, countries contributing research. main category is business, management, accounting. most productive journal Business Society Review, while California Management Review cited. authors with are Stavnezer, Luo, Lanero. institution Wuhan University. United States country publications citations, same country, together Kingdom, make international contributions. Evidence shows growing interest in economic environmental impacts USR. Future should focus analysing links between sustainable consumption universities their short-term financial, impacts.
