Scattering of a Plane Wave on a Ferrite Cylinder at Normal Incidence

摘要: The scattered field is given as a series of cylinder functions. If the ferrite magnetized along its axis scattering pattern becomes asymmetrical about direction incidence. Approximation formulas for thin and far zone are given. It shown that in first approximation amplitude an even function phase angle odd angle. Exact numerical results have been obtained with Univac digital computer. By suitable arrangement cylinders, unidirectional can be which controlled by applied magnetic dc field.
