摘要: Neuroinflammation plays a role in the pathology of epilepsy and cognitive impairment. Angiotensin II (AII) angiotensin receptor type 1 (AT1) have been shown to regulate seizure susceptibility different models epilepsy. Inhibition AT1 attenuates neuroinflammatory responses neurological diseases. In present study, we showed that protein expression AII was increased activated microglia following lithium pilocarpine-induced status epilepticus (SE) rats. Furthermore, antagonist, losartan, significantly inhibited SE-induced impairment microglia-mediated inflammation. Losartan also prevented SE induced neuronal loss hippocampus exerted neuroprotection. These data suggest losartan improves by suppressing mediated inflammatory attenuating hippocampal loss. Overall, our findings provide possible therapeutic strategy for treatment
