摘要: Numerous procedures are available for nipple reconstruction with no true universal favorite. This study presents long-term follow-up data using the C-V flap technique. Patients were identified by searching Breast Reconstruction Database, and they asked to return a visit. All those who underwent technique between January of 1992 December 1996 reviewed in an attempt conduct evaluation. The response was poor, 11 patients participated returned follow-up. They all completed questionnaire, which focused on patient satisfaction visual analogue scale. Nipple measurements taken caliper compared opposite breast symmetry. Fourteen reconstructions evaluated average 5.3 years. had undergone transverse rectus abdominis musculocutaneous (TRAM) reconstructions. Patient 42 percent projection, 62 pigmentation, 26 sensation. Overall procedure 81 percent. Average projection reconstructed 3.77 mm not statistically different when nipple. Long-term subjective evaluation does report loss projection; however, overall at years is good, as ability restore symmetry breast.
