摘要: This study compared and contrasted 64 Taiwanese college freshmen’s perceptions of attitudes toward three online vocabulary flashcard websites, Quizlet, Study Stack, Flashcard Exchange. Four types data were collected in two freshmen English classes a university Taiwan from February to April 2013. Data included classroom observations, participants’ flashcards learning records, interview. The has the following findings. First, these websites mainly offered with word knowledge terms form words’ meaning. Second, participants held positive improving their abilities via related activities. Suggestions are provided make more effective vocabulary-learning tools: provision user-friendly guidelines on using flashcards, meanings information, variety easy exercises designed develop learners’ knowledge.
