摘要: Abstract The parametric modulational instability for a discrete nonlinear Schrodinger equation with cubic–quintic nonlinearity is analyzed. This model describes the dynamics of BECs, both two- and three-body interatomic interactions trapped in an optical lattice. We identify discuss salient features interaction instability. It shown that term can both, shift as well narrow window instability, also change behavior modulationally stable parametrically unstable BEC attractive two-body interaction. explore this through multiple-scale analysis it numerically. effect three body losses have been investigated.
