摘要: Carbon steel corrosion inhibition by Fagus Sylvatica leaves ethanol extract has been studied in 0.5 M H 2 SO 4 solution using open circuit potential, potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy methods of monitoring. The studies were conducted a Voltalab 40 Radiometer Analytical potentiostat/galvanostat VoltaMaster 4.0 for acquiring processing the experimental data. results study revealed that different concentration inhibits carbon corrosion. Inhibition efficiency was found to vary with concentration. From Tafel Nyquist diagrams, one can observe presence increases resistance, shift potential towards more positive values decreases rate. calculated obtained both are well correlated.
