摘要: Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato DC3000 (Pst) is a virulent pathogen that causes disease on and Arabidopsis. The type III secretion system (TTSS) plays key role in pathogenesis by translocating virulence effectors from the bacteria into plant host cell, while phytotoxin coronatine (COR) contributes to symptom development. Recent studies suggest both TTSS COR are involved suppression of basal defenses. However, little known about interplay between gene expression changes associated with defenses activities during infection. In this study, we used Affymetrix full genome chip determine Arabidopsis transcriptome defense Pst hrp mutants human pathogenic bacterium Escherichia coli O157:H7. We then characterize transcriptional responses action hrp-regulated factors (e.g. COR) bacterial Additionally, fliC assess pathogen-associated molecular pattern flagellin induction defense-associated responses. total, our global analysis identified 2800 genes reproducibly regulated response inoculation. Regulation these provides signature for bacteria, illustrates common distinct effects TTSS, COR, possibly other
