摘要: The vanadium ion permeability of various ion-conducting polymer membranes was determined using a home-made apparatus. study includes proton-conducting sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone) (SPEEK) with cross-linking degrees, anion-conducting membranes, such as polysulfone quaternary ammonium groups (PSU-QA) and sulfaminated PEEK (SA-PEEK), amphoteric based on containing both sulfonic sulfonamide (SAM-PEEK) that can conduct cations anions. structure investigated by NMR spectroscopy. SPEEK decreases the degree be up to two orders below Nafion 117 reference membrane (1.4 10-6 cm 2 /min). cation SA-PEEK attains values low 5.0 10-10 /min, whereas SAM-PEEK has 7.0 /min. A factor or merit is introduced, defined ratio conductivity ; highest value, corresponding best compromise high electrochemically active ions, found for highly cross-linked SPEEK, membranes. influence backbone (PEEK PSU), cross-linking, spectroscopy, grafted ionic (sulfonic acid, sulfammonium, ammonium) discussed.
