摘要: Abstract A total of 3941 rodents were captured during a 46-month prospective (mark-recapture) study on the ecology Catarina virus in southern Texas. Antibody reactive against was found 73 (11.9%) 611 plains woodrats (Neotoma micropus) and none 3330 other rodents; strains isolated from 6 antibody-negative 9 antibody-positive woodrats; infections at least 3 chronic. These results affirm notion that woodrat is principal host suggest infection highly specific to N. micropus.
