摘要: Summary The skin-sensitizing activity in the sera of nine atopic patients, who are sensitive to ragweed pollen, and a reagin-rich fraction another patient9s serum was precipitated by anti-γE-globulin antiserum which did not contain any detectable antibody against γG-, γA-, γM- or γD-globulins. Absorption accompanied loss γE supernatants. patients9 sera, determined P-K reactions with antigen E, paralleled radioactivity band observed radioimmunodiffusion radioactively-labeled antigen, whereas no correlation between either γG γA antibodies. When one fractionated chromatography on DEAE cellulose column, gel filtration, sucrose density gradient ultracentrifugation zone electrophoresis agarose gel, distributions reaginic those antibody. These findings strongly support hypothesis that antibodies associated γE-globulin. Light chains immunoglobulins were detected γE-globulin, indicating γE-globulin is new immunoglobulin.
