摘要: The 5S rDNA coding region and its spacer have been successfully utilized in phylogenetic studies of plants. However, it has not the analysis Cucurbitaceae. Here, we obtained sequences 12 Cucurbitaceae species by direct PCR or cloning. ranged from 275 to 359 bp, regions all were 120 bp long, except for that Cucurbita, which was 119 bp. Some genus-specific SNPs observed Lagenaria, Melothria, Tricosanthes. GC content generally higher than NTS regions, difference between varied among species, with Gynostemma pentaphyllum having greatest 20.3. trees generated using maximum parsimony likelihood congruent well supported recently published classification These results demonstrated utility sequence inferring relationships could be extended a greater number future studies.
