Synthesis of silver and gold nanoparticles using Jasminum nervosum leaf extract and its larvicidal activity against filarial and arboviral vector Culex quinquefasciatus Say (Diptera: Culicidae).

摘要: Silver and gold nanoparticles of Jasminum nervosum L. had unique optical properties such as broad absorbance band in the visible region electromagnetic spectrum. Characterization using UV spectrophotometer, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy confirmed that particles were silver (AgNPs) (AuNPs) ranging between 4–22 2–20 nm with an average size 9.4 10 nm, respectively. AgNPs AuNPs J. high larvicidal activity on filarial arboviral vector, Culex quinquefasciatus, than leaf aqueous extract. Observed lethal concentrations (LC50 LC95) against third instar larvae 57.40 144.36 μg/ml for 82.62 254.68 after 24 h treatment, The time to kill 50 % C. quinquefasciatus 2.24 4.51 at 150 AuNPs, respectively, while case extract it was 9.44 500 (F2,14 = 397.51, P < 0.0001). principal component analysis plot presented differential clustering extract, AgNP relation dose time.
