On comparing the performance of primary care providers

摘要: Abstract In the past few years primary health care has been characterised as central to development of National Health Service in United Kingdom. Furthermore, performance assessment is seen a way achieving high standards. Performance indicators and targets are being developed assess providers, develop financial incentives. However, number studies that have compared providers limited existing approaches evaluation open improvement. this paper, we provide critical review focused on with particular reference use non-parametric technique Data Envelopment Analysis. We conclude most focus structure outputs, without consideration outcomes – ultimate measure tend be summative rather than formative nature.
