摘要: Research on invasion biology has been largely dominated by studies the ecological effects of events, although recently, evolutionary processes have shown to be important success. This is attributed novel genomic tools that provide new opportunities unravel natural history, taxonomy, and pathways invasive species, as well genetic basis adaptive traits allow them expand within beyond their native range. Despite these advances growing literature research terrestrial pests, not widely applied marine species. in part due perception high levels dispersal connectivity many species can limit opportunity for local adaptation. However, there evidence even with potential, significant site-specific adaptation occur. We review how “omic” unprecedented characterise role variation, physiological tolerance, epigenetic determining success invaders. Yet, rapid range expansion invasions confound analysis data, so we also data should properly analysed carefully interpreted under such circumstances. Although are a limited number pioneering this systems, highlights future designed integrate information. Such datasets will imperative effective management pests.
