摘要: Relations between nutrient assimilation and growth rate in fishes may vary with abiotic factors such as temperature. The effects of feeding status, ontogeny temperature regimes (15, 18 21 °C) on stable isotope (δ13C δ15N) patterns were assessed juveniles the seahorse Hippocampus guttulatus. use effective day degrees (D°eff), (D°) chronological time (age) compared development progress indices. Newborn seahorses maintained at three levels both deprived food (5 days) or fed (30 copepods or/and Artemia. Isotopic signatures clearly differed from those unfed juveniles. Temperature had a significant effect δ13C values throughout experimental period. δ15N also varied significantly age, but not level. Faster held °C supported by faster variations isotopic values. Our findings demonstrate that should be preferred over index developmental fluctuating scenarios for comparative studios.
