摘要: In this world of fast growing technology all the monitoring systems require features like high performance instrumentation, low-cost primary sensors, online signal processing, portability, and versatility. Introduction smart sensor comes up with these features. Commercially available equipment cannot easily achieve versatility portability. But approach will increase overcome costs in systems. They use standard off-the-shelf sensors add communication integration capabilities their functionality. This paper proposes implementation real time system-on-chip (SOC) based for time-frequency analysis signals voltage, electric current vibrations by applying discrete wavelet transform (DWT) on field programmable gate array(FPGA). The proposed uses a proprietary hardware processing unit. unit includes multiplier accumulate (MAC) computing input signals. designs MAC modified booth carry save adder area optimization propagation delay. design can connect to different without additional instrumentation shows obtained results 2-D view video graphics array screen or liquid crystal display. For presentation purposes, computed be sending PC through an RS232 interface plotting MATLAB. SOC-based module designing developing Xilinx 12.2 ISE using VHDL simulating Modelsim 6.3f.
