摘要: Cancer patients are at increased risk for thrombosis. Among the predisposing factors hemostatic imbalance, drugs have a definite role. Induction of thrombosis by involves variety mechanisms: Enhancement procoagulant activity, reduction in anticoagulants synthesis, stimulation platelet aggregation and endothelial damage. L-asparaginase is associated with thrombotic events, mainly venous system. Supportive therapy fresh frozen plasma probably insufficient heparin needs further evaluation. Venous thromboembolism has recently emerged following thalidomide use particularly combination chemotherapy. The hematopoietic growth granulocyte colony-stimulating factor, macrophage-granulocyte factor erythropoietin also been implicated as well arterial events. Numerous microangiopathy i.e., cyclosporine A, tacrolimus, cisplatin, bleomycin, gemcitabine. clinical presentation, pathological mechanisms therapeutic modalities discussed.
